Travis attempted the Slinger Nationals for the first time in his career on July 14th. He struggled to get the car to handle on the high banked track and did not qualify for the race.
“That was not the day we were hoping for. I thought if we could make the race and run all the laps it would be a success based off my experience at Slinger, but we just couldnt get it right, in fact we made it worse as we went along. Racing has ups and downs and this is for sure a downer, but that’s how it goes and we’ll keep digging. Good or bad I have the best group supporing me including Habelman Bros.
